STEM Foundation

Futures Day

Date: 18 July 2014 : 10:00 - 16:00

Cobham Plc has offered NEF a unique opportunity to invite a few college STEM lecturers to attend the Farnborough Airshow as special Cobham guests. This is an opportunity to attend the airshow on a non-public day and to hear about Cobham's latest technologies for aerospace and see the final product.

This is not a normal NEF masterclass. Spaces need to be applied for and are not guaranteed. Cobham have also invited lecturers to bring along one high achieving student each, who must be considering a future in any STEM related area. Your student will have the opportunity to take part in Futures Day.

Please let us know if you would like to register your interest in attending this exciting day and we will put you forward as an applicant for a space on 18 July.

The Cobham Group offers an innovative range of technologies and services to solve challenging problems across commercial, defence and security markets, from deep space to the depths of the ocean. It has market leading positions in air-to-air refuelling; aviation services; audio, video and data communications, including satellite communications; defence electronics; life support and mission equipment.

**Please note that only 1 lecturer and student will be considered per college.
